Storing ashes in a smart, clean and safe way
Bertis introduces the innovative CiniSafe®
For years, the way in which the ashes are collected and stored after a cremation hasn’t changed. We at Bertis saw room for improvement. After all, the present procedure, besides being labour intensive, could be more hygienic and environmentally friendly. This inspired us to develop the CiniSafe. After an intensive trial period involving testing at various crematoriums Bertis introduced the product to the marketplace in December 2016.
NO MORE NEED TO TRANSFER THE ASHES TO ANOTHER CONTAINER
An important improvement of the CiniSafe is that the receptacle is introduced directly into the cremulator. The receptacle is filled with the ashes through the opening and the accompanying identification tag is stored in its dedicated place in the lid. The container is then thoroughly closed with a sliding cover, labelled and sealed with a sealing sticker. The CiniSafe can now be stored in the storage facility. A special sleeve may be fitted to give the container an esthetically pleasing look, aimed at release to the relatives. The relatives may readily scatter the ashes directly from the CiniSafe. There is no more need to transfer the ashes to any other receptacle, which also eliminates the need for a double check. An appropriate carrying bag has been developed for handing over and transporting the CiniSafe.More info
Saving time and cost
This approach renders the ‘two sets of eyes’ routine superfluous. This efficient practice therefore saves both time and money. As the container is introduced directly into the cremulator no dust wil spread or remain behind when transferring the ashes. The CiniSafe comes in Poly-Bi biodegradable plastic and may safely be recycled. In that sense too, the CiniSafe is cleaner.
The CiniSafe has been tested extensively ‘in the field’. It has come to be a beautiful product that is in accordance with the respect the relatives would like to commemorate their loved ones. The CiniSafe has been devised, developed, produced and tested in The Netherlands.
Transporting the CiniSafe by airplane
Large international carriers allow the CiniSafe to be transported as carry-on luggage, provided the ashes are accompanied by a death certificate and a crematorium certificate. The intent to travel with ashes should be mentioned when making a flight reservation.More info
